Form fields without a label
In your forms (checkout, contact, login) some fields don't say what goes in them. A blind customer hears "edit text" and can't complete the purchase.
Who it leaves out: blind people (screen readers) · people with cognitive disabilities
How to fix it
Each field needs a visible label ("Email", "Address"). We flag the exact fields and write the code.
In the code
Wrap the field in a <label>, or link it with <label for="id">; placeholder text is not a label.
